Learning Proses

I believe everybody in this small world is created to LEARN. The Quran first verse also clearly stated that we must read and to read is to learn. The knowledge around the world is totally unimaginable. Why do we learn? Is it because to score in examination? Or get better grade? That maybe one of the point but to achieve it we must strive for the best. To me learning only won't benefit us unless we are to practice it in our real world.

We said it isn't hard? For somebody like me it is like an imaginable action and I really didn't trust myself that I could do it. Can I do it? For me it is not the problem. I just know that after I graduated from IIUM, I will somehow somewhere learn to speak in Arabic and improve my Tilawah skills. It is very important as a Muslim of cause.

Actually, deep in my heart, I'm very afraid to face it. I don't believe myself. Before deciding to enter and become part of IIUM community, I think a lot, worrying for nothing. The more I think the scarier I am. I'm sure everybody is scared to the uncertainty, but my prayer is the one who lead me here. I believe everything happened has Hikmah and I will push myself to the best to achieve it.

Not everyone is very lucky like me to be accepted to enter IIUM although I don't want to. But, I won't waste this chance. I will grab it and pray for the best. To all, don't forget to always pray because that's the most powerful weapon in the world that only we MUSLIM have.

Days in IIUM

Hi all, sorry I had been busy to suite with life in IIUM. Please pray for me ok!

IIUM sure differ a lot from my previous college. Living in IIUM was totally a challenge for me. Not only living but also the environment and the classes! Huh... the early day becoming one of IIUM community was a very troublesome days. I need to walk for about 20min (if I walk faster) to reach the CAC from my Mahallah (hostel). But slowly I managed to suit myself with the walking distance and finding the nearest path to my destinations.

The first day class was the BEST memories ever! I spend more than one hour just to look for the class. Just how big is this University comparing to my college? Believe me, it is totally on another level. Luckily, it is just for the first day.

Challenge comes one by one. Do you believe it? My class which is supposed to be fully air condition had become a worst nightmare ever! It was totally feel like sitting inside of an oven everyday especially when the weather is hot! Thanks to the both lovely lecturers Mr Khairul and Madam Alina who always try to look for a better class and tried severer times to complain to the top management regarding the class condition.

Food? It was relatively cheap here. The food are just around RM5 per meal for normal eating behaviour including the drinks. But the places are the most important, not all cafeterias serve good food. After three weeks here, surely "Alis's Cafetaria" food are the best!

Everyday I'm replenishing and improving my English to prepare myself to enter the Kuliyyah. It's a little bit boring if we think that there are English class everyday for at least 4 hours, but my lecturers are working hard to ensure the classes are attractive and interesting everyday. Arabic subject is also waiting for me once I had enter my Kuliyyah. Huh... Like a mountain placed on my shoulder just thinking about it. However, I'm sure if I work hard I will be able to score easily. InsyaAllah.

For those who are looking for a suitable IPTAs' to further their studies, I will recommend you all to choose to study in IIUM. The environemnt is good, the food, the culture, everything is marvellous!
